The second and final day of the Red Bull Defiance in Wanaka begins this morning on the water with RBD teams kayaking from the beach at Edgewater Resort to the Clutha River while X4 teams start with a canoe down the river.
The mega day includes a 31km Criffle Mountain Bike ride and the 30km Skyline Traverse Mountain Run plus a mystery challenge along the way back to the finish back at Edgewater Resort.

Competitors are pumped and ready for action with the first athletes expected home apron 1.30pm. Who will defy the odds?
